DR. STEVEN HOEFFLIN AND THE LITTLE CHILDREN FROM ISLA DE NINOS
May 15, 2014
Isla de Ninos is like a isolated island of impoverished children. It is located in a Shanty Town Slum with 3500 famlies and over 5000 children living in severe poverty. They live on the sides of the hills. This community is about 3 miles from the local buses so access to transportion is extremely difficult. Most of the children have never seen a doctor. Like many of the severely impoverished children, most don't have access to school, social services, or children of higher education or economic levels.
